The Lighthouse Keeper by James Michael Pratt

Peter is 10 years old when he is orphaned and moves in with his Uncle Billie in a lighthouse off the coast of Massachusetts. In Peter's last days he tells his daughter about his life and what being a lighthouse keeper really is.

A bit sweet and sentimental, a bit religious, but not overdone on either count. A nice enough light read....and I am fascinated by lighthouses and have always wanted to live in one.
