Lines in the Sand by Anne Deveson

Hannah is an Aussie girl who goes to Ethiopia as part of an aid team in the '70s. There she meets Ezekiel. This meeting changes her life.

I didn't particularly like Hannah which made it difficult for me to really feel involved in the story. There are some gory descriptions and some very sad, heartrending incidents.
