This is a companion book to "Life As We Knew It".
This time it's New York and 17 yr old Alex is left looking after his 2 younger sisters when his father is in Puerto Rico when the moon is hit and his mother has been called in to work at the hospital but doesn't come home.
It was very good, but somehow not quite as brilliant as Life As We Knew It.
